Rich Laster

13 years leadership experience, Rich Laster wields a track record of increasing business profits and enhancing nonprofit service delivery for his clients. Laster is currently engaged by a technology firm to market nationally a high performance green energy technology. In 2009, at zero-cost to the City, Laster negotiated a partnership between Philadelphia and Temple University to study, and address, the issues of poverty. Laster played key roles in both the 2007 Nutter Primary campaign, and the 2006 Rendell re-election campaign, by executing aggressive African American outreach/ guerilla marketing strategies.
In 1998, at First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo), Laster successfully doubled revenue of the 5th & Market Streets branch his first year. Recognizing market demand, Laster created RBL Consulting in 2001 to provide creative financing, business development guidance, and revenue expansion strategies.
A graduate of Temple University, Laster currently serves as faculty at the Center for Progressive Leadership and The Enterprise Center. He continues to serve his community on numerous boards with a focus on entrepreneurship, education, and economic development.
