Our History
Starting his career in 1998 at First Union National Bank, Rich Laster turned away countless business owners who’s loan applications did not meet the 
cookie-cutter lending requirements of the bank.
RBL Consulting, in it’s first incarnation, was founded by Laster to service the lending needs of such businesses by partnering with two commercial underwriters to provide creative financing alternatives. The drastic change in capital access and the lending habits of our friends in the debt and private equity communities marked for RBL Consulting a new need in the marketplace –innovative management consulting.
Business, non-profit, and government leaders have become aware of the shortcomings of textbook tactics for growth. They demand innovation. RBL Consulting approaches each client’s need with the propoer blend of 13 years experience, innovative solution development and execution, and core business principles.
